The XTAR X4 is a multifunctional charger, equipped with 4 different channels separated from each other and which allows you to charge a multitude of batteries with different chemistries. This charger can be powered in two different ways: via the home electrical network, therefore with an input of 100-240V 50/60Hz 0.8A or with a DC 5V 2.1A constant voltage power supply. This charger is capable of delivering 2A of current for 2 slots, or 1A or 0.5A on all 4 slots. At the end of the charge, the current that will circulate, which will allow the cells to be kept charged and ready for use, will be less than or equal to 70mA (0.5A end of charge current) or less than or equal to 130mA (1A/2A end of charge current). In addition to acting as a charger for any type of cylindrical battery, the XTAR X4 has a USB-A port to power any type of USB device such as a smartphone or tablet. Its dimensions are extremely compact, in fact they are 140 mm long, 118 mm wide and 38 mm high. The weight however is only 235 grams.

This charger is compatible with a great multitude of batteries even with different chemistries: it is automatically able to understand which battery has been inserted inside and automatically choose the best charging settings. The XTAR X4 is in fact compatible with all 3.6V/3.7V Li-ion/IMR/INR/ICR cylindrical cells but also with 1.2V Ni-MH and Ni-CD cells. It is also possible to charge the long 21700 and the large 26650 without any problem (it is not possible to charge the protected 20700 or 21700 batteries). This charger is equipped with an innovative LCD display which shows all the information on the progress of the charge. In fact, it shows the percentage of battery power, battery voltage, charging current and the capacity of the battery that has been charged. The XTAR also regulates the voltage and current during the charging phases with three different stages to ensure that the cells always receive an excellent charge with minimal wear and tear: this function is called TC - CC - CV Three - Stage Charging.
