Output & Runtime

Operating Klarus EC20
Klarus EC20 is easy to operate by using the tail switch button. All functions can be done including switch the flashlight on or off, cycle through brightness modes, or accessing the SOS and strobe modes directly.
Click the tail switch to turn on the flashlight into the last used mode. When the flashlight is on, click on the switch to cycle brightness levels from High, Medium, and Low. Another click will turn of the flashlight.
All those functions can be accessed easily by using the tail switch. You can activate strobe and SOS modes quickly in case of emergencies by double pressing the tail switch rapidly.
This flashlight has memory mode but strobe/SOS isn’t memorized. It means the light will always start from where it left, unless for the strobe/SOS mode.
Build Quality
Klarus EC20 is made to withstand any conditions it may face. The body is made from aircraft grade aluminum with anti-slip texture. With IPX8 rating, the flashlight will survive from being submerged 2 meters under water for 30 minutes. Klarus also build this flashlight to survive from 1 meter drop above the ground.
Another cool feature from Klarus EC20 is the battey charging indicator. A LED will display the battery capacity, green for 70-100% battery capacity, orange for 30-70%, and red when the battery is below 30% in capacity. The red LED will blinking when the battery is under 10% capacity.
When the included 21700 battery (4000mAh) runs out the juice, you can charge it in no time thanks to the its quick charging feature. Simply plug the included charging cable into its charging port and that’s all done.
