GT Mini range has a new addition, this time retaining the well known small form factor, long range beam up to 1000 metres, but with a 21700 power source for extended run times.
There are 5 power levels from the lowest moonlight of 1.5 lumens, up to to the headline Turbo of 1600 lumens; 3 strobe modes including a normal Strobe, SOS, and Beacon.
Using a flat top 21700 cell (up to 72mm length) you can power the flashlight, and provide impressively long run times, or up to 24 days in moonlight mode (1.5 lumens). Type C charging is built into the body and offers quick and convenient charging, with a backlit side switch showing the battery and charge level.
A magnetic tail/base lets you attach it to metal surfaces, making it a good choice for a working light or camping.
Body uses a strong and durable aluminum alloy, which has been heat treated for improved damage resistance. It’s IPX8 waterproof for up to 2 metres submersion, and has been drop tested to 1 metre.
This model is still quite compact overall, despite the larger cell it’s only 150mm x 55.5mm x 29mm (length x head x body diameter), and a weight of 210g (no battery).
5 Power levels with a long range 1000 metres beam
A luminus SFT40 LED has a powerful beam of 1600 lumens, and the tight candela of 250,000cd can push the light as far as 1000 metres range. As well as the 5 levels and 3 strobe modes, you also have two modes of operation.
A General mode with memory function for the levels (low, mid, high), Hidden mode which has moonlight, Turbo, and the 3 strobe modes. A single side switch makes operation very simple, with shortcuts to Turbo, Moonlight, battery level check (flashes the voltage reading), you can also turn On/Off the backlit switch, and of course a lock-out mode for safe transportation.
Powerful yet still very portable, the new upgraded version from Lumintop has deep fins for improved heat dissipation around the head, and an ergonomic grip with grooves for a secure hold on the flashlight even in damp or wet conditions.
