Updated and upgraded the new Seeker 4 from Olight is a new enhanced model which has improved output, longer range, and now supports type C charging with a metal cover which rotates around to protect the port when not in use.
Available in Black and Red, the Seeker 4 has a powerful 3100 lumens beam with 5 power levels and a strobe. The lowest level (moonlight) is just 5 lumens and gives extended run times of up to 15 days.
Power is from a custom 21700 Li-ion battery and it has a high capacity of 5000mAh.
Body features grooves for improved comfort, a matt finish (black) gives better grip even when wet. And a new metal side switch, has a premium feel and also shows the battery power level in 4 stages (Green, Amber, Red, Red flashing).
Olight are using their top end Aero grade aluminum alloy, which is heat treated for better resistance to marks and damage (Type III hard anodising), a blue effect stainless steel strike bezel rounds off the body design. They have rated it to IPX8 water resistance, even with the type C port open, and drop tested to 1.5 metres.
It’s a mid size flashlight which is 134mm x 35mm x 28mm (length x head x body diameter), and a weight of 205g (including the battery).
5 Levels + Strobe with an enhanced range of 400 metres
Using the well known CREE XHP50.3 LED and a new deep reflector, the Seeker 4 can punch deep into the darkness at up to 400 metres range with the top level of 3100 lumens. This is a significantly longer distance v the Seeker 3 (which has a range of 220 metres).
The 5 levels gives a wide power spread for all type of users, hiking, walking, camping, patrols and law enforcement/security.
Olight have a simple and effective UI has a single press for On/Off, push/hold cycles the levels and it has a mode memory and features a timer shut off mode too. Quick shortcuts to strobe, Turbo and Moonlight are also here as is a lock-out function for the side switch.
