But it also have some well thought out features. 3 power levels with a top output of up to 300 lumens (range 80 metres), and it also has 2 flashing modes a fast and slow speed. It’s an easy light to mount due to the Garmin mount, making it quick and simple to mount without the use of any tools. Polycarbonate and ABS body ensure the Wyvern is durable enough to stand the test of time. This is backed up with an IPX 4 rating and drop tested to 1 metre.

3 Power Levels with 2 Flashing Modes
A top output of 300 lumens reaches a distance of 80 metres, medium has 200 lumens output and 60 metres, with the low level of 100 lumens still manages to have a range of 40 metres. Making all 3 power levels more than suitable for riding at night. Both flashing modes are 100 lumens, one is a faster mode and the other slower. Olight have used their specially developed optical lens to ensure a good beam, which gives both range and spread and makes it very suited for bike riding.
Thanks to the built in high capacity battery run times are equally good. The low level can run for up to 11.5 hours, and even the top 300 lumen output has a 3.5 hour run time from a full charge. Checking the battery level is very simple to do, just a press on the large single top switch lights up the level indicators. A concealed type C port for charging rounds of the design on this model.
Single Button Operation For Simplicity
It’s important to have quick and easy operation of a bike light, even more so when riding along. For this reason Olight have used a single button/switch, meaning you can quickly select the output/mode you wish with only one control to think about. In addition Olight has also included a lock out function (useful when storing or travelling with the light, so it won’t turn on by accident), and it has a memory function for the last selected mode.
Durable PC and ABS case materials can stand up to 1 metre drop tests, and heavy rain with it’s IPX4 water rating. The Wyvern is a good upgrade over many budget bike lights, and it’s a very affordable choice from a well respected maker.
