Joining the expanded range of EDC models from the company, is the new EDC17 model, which has a triple output, newly designed body for enhanced grip/comfort, and retains the popular slimmer wedge shape that has been a hit with many users.
It has 4 power levels from 1500 lumens down to a moonlight of 1 lumen, 3 UV levels, and the Green laster pointer.
A large capacity built in battery has a rating of 1500mAh, and can run for up to 260 hours in the lowest 1 lumen output. USB-C charging for convenience, has a port cover to protect the port from dirt and water.
Sides have a new pattern for extra grip and comfort holding the flashlight, the body is made from premium grade stainless steel with a PVD coating for extra protection, and a pre-fitted stainless steel clip. It also features hardened nitride ceramic points for glass breaking. IPX7 rating for water and dust resistance, drop test pass for 2 metres in height. This is a tough body flashlight which should provide many years reliable service.

Triple output, White light, UV and Green Laser
Orange peel reflector for the main white light, using an in house developed NiteLab Uhi 25 LED, the 4 power levels offer a maximum output of 1500 lumens, and a solid range of 230 metres at the top level. 12,400cd candela is a mixed beam pattern perfect for many users.
UV has multiple outputs too, 3 levels and this mode is very useful for detection dirt/dust, fluids, counterfeit notes etc. Green laser is rated to 5mW, ideal for presentations.
Dual controls with an M button for source/mode switching, and a prominent side switch for the On/Off and level adjustments. On the side a convenient battery display shows have much capacity is left. This handy model offer 3 in 1 functions, and is a welcome new addition to Nitecore’s EDC range.
