Expanding their popular headlamp series, Nitecore now offer another multiple output model in the shape of the HA27 UHE. This one offers a higher output compared to the slightly smaller HA23 UHE.
It’s also multiple power compatible, via the HLB1500 battery pack (with USB-C charging capacity of 1500mAh), or using 3 x AAA cells (normal or rechargeable), an all weather battery is coming out shortly. Run times are up to 65 hours in the lowest ultra low level.
There are 4 dual core MCT UHE LED’s with 3 color temperatures, and a top output up to 800 lumens. Also comes with an Aux red output in 3 modes high, low and slow flash. With the main LEDs offering also an SOS and Beacon mode. A cast Mag alloy heat sink ensures reliable operation and improved thermal management.
Made with high strength polycarbonates which are temperature, and impact resistant (up to 1 metre drop tested), it’s been certified to IPX6 water and dust resistance.

A quality adjustable headband is supplied, perforated for ventilation, it has a silicone anti sweat bead and reflective markings. It also comes with a clip to attach to a hat or bag/backpack, and a diffuser sack to make the light into a makeshift camping lantern, plus provide storage for the items/cable etc.
It still retains the small lightweight style of other models, and it’s only 73mm x 43mm x 38mm, and a weight of just 75g.
High CRI outputs, up to 150 metres range, with dual button interface
UHE LEDs make a return, with 3 color temperatures, 3000K for the warm, 4500K neutral white, and 6500K for the cool output. Nitecore also quote CRI figures, 97 for warm, 83 for neutral, and 73 for cool white.
Each has it’s own use with warm offer more comfort to the eyes, and better color reproduction, cool has higher output and more range, with neutral being a balance between those two.
Nitecore’s Truevision + has improved optical lenses for superior output, and this gives light transmission of over 94% for better efficiency.
5 power levels on the main LEDs. From 800 down to 8 lumens (with Li-ion battery pack), dual emergency modes of Beacon and SOS, and 3 red light modes 15 lumens, 5 lumens and a slow flashing output.
Two buttons are a unique shape making them easy to feel by touch alone, operation is quick with simple mode/color output changing, and it also has a lock out function to safe transportation.
This is a unique well features headlamp with multiple useful mode, and the ability to run off many power sources too. Making it ideal for EDC or camping/work.
