Nitecore continues to expand their hugely popular EDC range, this time the EDC15 is an ultra-slim, dual-light model, engineered to combine high-performance white light with versatile UV detection. Delivering up to 1,200 lumens with a maximum beam distance of 208 metres alongside a powerful 1,350mW ultraviolet beam, the EDC15 bridges the gap between daily illumination tasks and specialized inspection needs. 

Powered by an integrated 1,050mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery, it features an intelligent Li-ion charging circuit with a USB-C port and power indicators for remaining battery status, providing an extended runtime of up to 200 hours in Ultralow mode (1 lumen output).

Built from a high-strength stainless steel shell with a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating, the rugged housing is IPX7-rated waterproof with 2-metre impact resistance, providing exceptional durability for daily utility. 

At just 111mm long, 28mm wide, and 16mm thick, weighing just 85g (including battery), it maintains an ultra-flat, pocket-friendly footprint designed with an included stainless steel clip to slip easily into a pocket or pack.

208m range beam, with 200-hour maximum runtime 

The EDC15 is using a NiteLab UHi 25 LED paired with a precision metal orange peel reflector, generating a peak intensity of 10,886cd and driving a 1,200-lumen beam out to 208 metres in High mode. The secondary UV light source delivers a 365nm–375nm wavelength beam across 3 power levels (ranging from 220mW up to 1,350mW), making it ideal for document verification, fluid detection, hygiene checks, and material inspection.

Operation is intuitive and accessible via an M button and a smooth slide switch for easy control. White light offers 4 discrete brightness levels plus STROBE, providing complete functional versatility higher power for longer distances or brighter illumination of areas, down to a moonlight mode of just 1 lumens for extra long run times and a small discreet output.

Advanced internal electronics include a highly efficient constant current circuit for stable output, an Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) module is built in to manage thermal parameters during high-output operation, and Advanced Power Cut-Off (APC) technology for an ultralow standby power consumption. You can store the Nitecore for extended periods of time, without having to worry if the battery will slowly discharge.
