The Acebeam P17 is a tactical flashlight born exclusively to be used by law enforcement or to be used in tactical environments. It mounts a single latest generation CREE XHP70.3 HI 6500K LED with a max output of 4900 lumens, with Max peak beam intensity of 49506cd and max throw of 445 meters. The highly efficient integrated circuit allows you to have an always stable current and therefore a constant output for the entire battery life. When using the torch on the lowest output level, it can remain on for 20 consecutive days with an always stable output until the cell capacity is exhausted. The Acebeam P17 comes with a 5100mAh 21700 cell included in the package model IMR21700NP-510A Type-C which is equipped with a type-c charging interface. In this way it is not necessary to use special chargers to charge the cell but it will be enough to use any standard type-c cable like the one used to recharge the smartphone. On the same battery there is also a small LED status indicator on the side of the positive pole: in this way the user can understand when the charging process is finished or if it is still in progress.

The Bezel to protect the lens is made of stainless steel and features three ceramic spheres that can be used effectively as a glass breaker in emergency situations. The lens is made of ultra-clear mineral glass, very thick and with an anti-reflection treatment. The reflector is made of aluminum and has an orange peel treatment for a clean and uniform beam.

Interface management is guaranteed by two switches located in the queue that allow you to select the preferred level very quickly and precisely and which are used for the instant activation of Strobo or Turbo, ideal in tactical situations. The belt clip is made of stainless steel and is two-way: the flashlight can therefore be mounted on clothes, backpacks and belts both with the head facing upwards and with the head facing downwards.

 The body of the Acebeam P17 is entirely made of A6061-T6 aluminum with a type III hard anodized finish that is anti-scratch resistant to wear and bad weather. The water resistance is given by the IP68 standard therefore 2 meters submersible despite not being an underwater torch, while the resistance to falls is 1.5 meters high. Dimensions are 147 x 41 x 26mm / 5.79'' x 1.61'' x 1.02''.' while the weight is 227 g / 8 oz (including battery); 154g / 5.43 (excluding battery).

There are three modes of use: the daily mode suitable for everyday use and two tactical modes: Tactical Mode 1 and Tactical Mode 2 for use in tactical environments and situations. The levels are divided as follows: for daily mode we have Ultra-Low, Low, Med ,High , Turbo. For Tactical Mode 1 however: Ultra-Low , Low ,Med ,High , Turbo . For Tactical Mode 2 instead: Ultra-Low , Low, High.
