The Acebeam Rider RX is a small and elegant EDC flashlight made entirely of metal. It comes in a small cardboard box complete with everything: in fact, in addition to the flashlight, we have a 920mAh rechargeable lithium 14500 cell, a belt clip already mounted on the flashlight, a Type-C charging cable, spare o-ring, English / Chinese user manual.

The Rider RX comes with a small lens protector film that must be removed before use.

The Acebeam Rider RX is a compact and comfortable flashlight to keep in your pocket, in fact its dimensions are only 95.7mm in length. In addition to this, the flashlight is also an excellent stress reliever thanks to the snap movement of the clip.

The body of the Rider RX is built in aluminum alloy while the outer shell is in stainless steel available in 4 different colors. Titanium coating is also optionally available.

The Acebeam Rider RX is equipped with a Nichia 219F LED with a high color rendering index CRI> 90. Its maximum output is 650 lumens and the available levels are 4 + a special SOS level. The torch is powered by a 14500 size cell supplied or alternatively with primary AA or rechargeable cells. The 14500 battery supplied has, near the positive side, the Type-C charging interface. During the charging phase, a small status LED placed on the battery and visible on the positive pole lights up red while it turns green when charging is complete.

The Acebeam Rider RX has an elegantly designed stainless steel casing with a glossy finish and with clearly visible lettering on the body.

The belt clip is two-way and comes pre-mounted on the flashlight. To disassemble it, just unscrew the three small screws that keep it fixed to the torch body.

The head of the flashlight can be unscrewed and gives access to the battery compartment.

When the clip is pushed down the head jumps out of the body of the flashlight and the tail switch becomes inaccessible: this avoids any kind of accidental ignition. By moving the clip right to left the Acebeam Rider RX acts as an anti-stress game.

The switch is mechanical, particularly protruding and easy to activate. When it is clicked, a ringing click is emitted.

The interface is simple and intuitive. Full click on the switch to turn the flashlight on or off, while to select the desired output level just click the switch halfway. The levels will alternate following the Ultra low- Low - Mid and High flow. To activate the SOS mode, on the other hand, the level variation cycle must be repeated quickly twice in a row.

The memory mode is also available which remembers the last output level used to propose it again the next time the light is switched on.

The beam has an excellent color rendering and is ideal in natural environments, it is wide enough, it has a clearly visible spot and a spill that can be used to illuminate in short distances. The reflector is shallow and smooth, while the lens has anti-reflective and scratch-resistant treatment on both sides.
