High-Discharge Performance

The Ampace JP30P1 combines a 3000mAh nominal capacity with high-current discharge capability. Its specified continuous discharge performance makes it suitable for compatible devices that require substantial current output from an 18650 cell.

The maximum continuous discharge rating depends on the manufacturer's specified temperature conditions. The 56A rating is associated with an 80°C temperature cutoff and should not be interpreted as an unrestricted continuous operating current.

Charging and Safety

The manufacturer's standard charging procedure specifies a constant-current charge to 4.20V, followed by constant-voltage charging until the current decreases to the specified cutoff level.

Use a compatible charging system and a device with appropriate overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short-circuit and temperature protection. Do not exceed the manufacturer's specified charging voltage or current limits.

This is a lithium-ion cell, not a complete battery pack. Confirm the cell's dimensions, electrical requirements and compatibility with your device before use.
