Strobe mode can be activated with three clicks of the button when the flashlight is off. Tactical mode, which offers only 100% brightness, can be activated with four button clicks when the flashlight is off, and can be deactivated with four more button clicks. The torch also offers a voltage sensing mode and a normal crimping mode with 4 brightness levels (1%, 10%, 40%, 100%). Finally, there is a lockout mode that can be activated with ten clicks of the button when the flashlight is off. The flashlight will flash once to indicate it is locked, and will be unlocked with another ten clicks of the button.The Convoy M21H features low voltage protection and temperature control protection. Low voltage protection ensures that the flashlight turns off when the battery reaches a critical voltage level to avoid battery damage.
