The Fenix HM65R-DT is a lightweight high performance trail running headlamp made from magnesium. This new Fenix headlight features two integrated LEDs that offer a maximum output of 1500 lumens. Thanks to its body made of magnesium, the HM65R-DT has IP68 protection and shock resistance up to 2 meters. The included perforated headband offers comfort and adjustability for the perfect fit in any situation. It is recommended to use the Fenix HM65R-DT during trail running sessions where it is necessary to illuminate the path quickly and without the use of hands. The white light offers an output of 1300 lumens, while the warm white light reaches 400 lumens. The maximum combined output of the two light sources can reach 1500 lumens. The Fenix HM65R-DT uses Luminus SST40 LEDs for white light and SST20 LEDs for warm white light, with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. The headlight is equipped with a 3400mAh battery and a constant current circuit which ensures a longer life. It also features reverse polarity protection to prevent damage from incorrect battery installation. Thanks to the two switches located on the top, the operation of the lighthouse is quick and easy. The USB Type-C charging port allows for fast charging. The SPORT Headband Fit System allows for one-handed use. The SPORT Headband Fit System allows for quick, one-handed operation, while the widened headband design ensures comfort and stability. The Fenix HM65R-DT uses a Luminus SST40 LED for white light and a SST20 LED for warm white light, both with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. However, Fenix does not currently offer LED replacement services and it is not recommended to replace them yourself, as it may affect product performance and cause damage. The color temperature of white light is approximately 6500K, while warm white light has a temperature color of about 3000K. The HM65R-DT has an operating voltage of 3.6V, an operating current of 4.2A and a rated power of 15W. The headlamp is rechargeable via a USB Type-C port. Full charge takes about 3 hours. It is important to cover the charging connector with the dust cap to ensure the waterproof and dustproof protection of the headlight. To prevent accidental activation of the beacon, it can be locked by holding down either switch for 3 seconds or by pressing both switches simultaneously for 3 seconds. In locked mode, the beacon will flash 4 times to indicate the locked status. To unlock it, simply hold both switches for 3 seconds. When the headlight is unlocked, it will turn on in warm white light mode at low brightness level. The light may derate to a lower level after prolonged use at relatively high emission levels due to intelligent overheating protection. When the temperature of the headlight reaches 60°C or more, the headlight will automatically dim to reduce the temperature. Also, when the voltage level drops below the preset value, the fixture will dim down until it reaches the low output. If your headlight is flashing, flickering, or won't turn on, there could be several reasons. It could be due to a low battery level, dirty contacts between the battery and the headlight, or other problems.
