The JETBeam E20R is a small light and compact edc flashlight with extremely small dimensions, its maximum output is 990 lumens. The body made of aircraft aluminum is CNC machined. The body of the flashlight is extremely robust and has HA III military grade hard anodizing which makes it extremely robust, resistant to scratches, corrosion and bad weather. The JETBeam E20R is equipped with an SST-40 N4 BC LED whose efficiency is over 160 lumens per watt. The optical part is composed of a mineral glass with anti-reflective treatment on both sides and an aluminum reflector with an orange peel treatment. This flashlight adopts an efficient constant current circuit that provides a Max runtime of 100 hours when used on the lowest output level. The interface is managed entirely by the single side switch on the flashlight: When the flashlight is on, it is possible with a simple click to switch from one output level to another by scrolling through the levels according to the turbo, high, medium, low order. With a double click, on the other hand, it is possible to switch from the turbo level to the stroboscopic level. This light can be powered from a single 16340 cell but alternatively it is also possible to use a CR123A cell. But the runtime and the powers will vary according to the type of cell used. When using a 16340 cell the available levels are: ultra low of 0.7 lumens, low of 88 lumens, medium of 350 lumens, high of 990 lumens. When a CR123A cell type is used, the available output levels are ultra low from 1.1 lumens, low from 72 lumens, medium from 220 lumens, and high from 520 lumens. The maximum runtime using a 16340 or CR123A cell type is 100 hours on the Low level while it is 1 hour for the Turbo level with CR123A cell or 0.5 hours on the Turbo level using a 16340 cell.

On the opposite side of the switch there is the microUSB Type-Charging interface that allows you to charge the internal battery without having to extract it from the flashlight. The charging interface is protected by a thick rubber cap that prevents dirt and water from getting inside. The metal switch contains a small status LED inside which provides all the information on the progress of the charge and the amount of remaining battery capacity.

When the cell voltage is low then the led indicator will flash green slowly while when the cell voltage is very low the led status indicator will flash green very quickly.

 The flashlight is water resistant according to the IPX-8 standard so it is submersible up to 2 m depth while not being a diving flashlight while the impact resistance is given up to 1 m in height.

The JETBeam E20R is an extremely small light in fact its length is only 76.45 mm while the head diameter is 26.7 mm while the body diameter is only 23 mm. The weight is 66.5 grams excluding the battery.
