The JETBeam E28 is a powerful multi-function EDC flashlight designed to bring several useful lighting tools into one compact, flat-body design. Combining a high-output floodlight, long-range spotlight, UV light, green laser, RGB side lighting, USB-C charging, and power bank capability, the E28 is built for everyday carry, outdoor use, work, inspection, travel, and emergency situations.
Flood + Spot: Choose the Right Beam
Instead of relying on a single beam pattern, the E28 gives you dedicated flood and spotlight channels.
The floodlight uses a 7070 LED and delivers up to 3300 lumens, providing broad illumination for walking, camping, work areas, and general everyday use, with a maximum beam distance of approximately 187 meters.
For longer-range visibility, the dedicated spotlight uses a Luminus SFT-42R LED, producing up to 2480 lumens and reaching approximately 365 meters.
Flood and spot can also be used together when you need both wide-area illumination and better visibility into the distance.
More Than a Flashlight
The E28 integrates several additional light sources into its compact body:
UV Light
Useful for inspection tasks, detecting fluorescent materials, checking stains and residues, and other applications where ultraviolet illumination is required.
Green Laser
Provides a convenient pointing function for presentations, demonstrations, equipment inspection, and other appropriate applications.
RGB Side Light
Multiple colors and lighting effects make the side light useful for signaling, identification, ambient lighting, and battery/charging indication.
With white light, UV, laser, and RGB lighting available from one device, the E28 can replace several separate tools in your EDC kit.
Dual 18650 Power with Removable Batteries
The E28 is powered by two 3500mAh 18650 rechargeable batteries, providing a total nominal capacity of 7000mAh.
Unlike many flat EDC flashlights that rely on permanently integrated battery packs, the E28 uses removable standard 18650 cells. This makes battery replacement more convenient and gives experienced users greater flexibility for extended trips or long-term ownership.
Maximum runtime reaches up to 350 hours in the lowest floodlight mode.
USB-C Charging & Power Bank Function
A built-in USB-C charging port allows convenient charging without removing the batteries.
The USB-C interface also supports 5V/3A power output, allowing the E28 to serve as an emergency power bank for compatible phones and other USB-powered devices.
Battery and charging status can be viewed through the side lighting system.
Rotary Dial + Side Switch Control
The E28 combines a rotary mode selector with a separate electronic side switch.
The rotary dial allows quick selection between major lighting functions, while the side switch controls output levels and additional functions. This makes switching between flood, spot, combined lighting, and other modes more intuitive than navigating everything through a single button.
A lockout position also helps prevent accidental activation while the flashlight is carried in a pocket or bag.
Flat EDC Design
Despite using two replaceable 18650 batteries, the E28 measures only approximately:

Its flat, side-by-side battery configuration makes it easier to carry than a conventional large dual-cell flashlight while still providing substantially more battery capacity than many compact EDC lights.
A removable two-way pocket clip adds additional carry flexibility.
Magnetic Tail & Expandable Mounting Options
The magnetic tail allows the E28 to attach to suitable metal surfaces for hands-free illumination.
It also supports additional mounting options, making it suitable for applications such as bike mounting, action-camera-style mounting, work lighting, and other hands-free setups.
Built for Real-World Use
The body is constructed from aviation-grade aluminum alloy with a durable Type III hard-anodized finish.
A double-sided coated tempered optical lens protects the lighting system, while an IPX8 waterproof rating allows the flashlight to withstand submersion in water up to 2 meters.
The E28 is also rated for impact resistance from drops of up to 1.5 meters, making it suitable for everyday carry as well as demanding outdoor and work environments.
