The Klarus A1 Pro is a compact and comfortable to use linear flashlight in the 18650 format. Its dimensions are 160.5mm in length and 35mm in body diameter. This flashlight is equipped with a CREE XP-L2 led capable of delivering 1300 lumens to the Turbo. the user interface provides 4 output levels: High from 1300 lumens with a runtime of 3.2 hours and a maximum light intensity of 13200 candles and 230 m of range, Medium with 200 lumens with a runtime of 8 hours and maximum light intensity of 2400 candles with 100 m range, low with 30 lumens runtime of 50 hours maximum light intensity 640 candles and maximum range 50 m, 1300 lumens strobe. The flashlight comes in a small cardboard box containing a charging cable, a spare o-ring, a wrist strap and a user manual.This flashlight has two different switches, a main switch and a strobe switch. Switch is used to directly access the stroboscopic level, while the main switch allows you to turn the flashlight on and off and to change the brightness levels available. To turn the flashlight on, just press the main switch, while to turn it off just click on the main switch again. Press the strobe switch to access the stroboscopic level and press it again to exit the stroboscopic level. When the flashlight is on, a simple click on the main switch is enough to change the current output level, choosing from the levels that follow each other in the order of high, medium and low. Physical lockout is also available on this flashlight: just unscrew the tail cap slightly to mechanically lock the interface and prevent the flashlight from turning on accidentally, when for example it is carried inside a backpack or pocket. This flashlight also has the battery capacity indicator, it will light up for 5 seconds when the flashlight is turned on.If it lights up blue it means that the remaining cell capacity is between 70% and 100% . If it lights up red it means that the cell capacity is between 15% and 30%, while if it lights up in red flashing it means that the cell capacity is less than 15%. If the battery drops below 2.7 volts, then the light will turn off automatically to preserve battery life.Vo The flashlight has a Type-C charging interface, so you can charge the battery inside the flashlight without having to take it out and using a cable. Type-C standard. The charging indicator will light up red during charging, and will turn blue when charging is complete. The Klarus A1 is water resistant according to the IPX6 standard, while falls up to 1 m high. The body is entirely made of aluminum alloy. The bezel and laced is particularly protruding to effectively protect the lens under the head there are deep expert dissipation fins, while in the central part of the body there are vertical millings that help in the Grip. The tail cap is not flat but despite this, the flashlight can still be used in tailstanding.
