High Capacity Meets High Discharge Performance

The LINKDATA INR21700S-65P is a high-performance rechargeable 21700 lithium-ion cell designed to deliver an impressive balance of 6500mAh capacity and high-current output.

With a typical capacity of 6500mAh (23.4Wh), this cell provides significantly more energy than conventional high-drain 21700 batteries while still supporting demanding high-power applications. Its nominal voltage is 3.6V, with a minimum rated capacity of 6370mAh.

This makes the INR21700S-65P particularly attractive for high-performance flashlights and other applications where both long runtime and strong current delivery matter.

Up to 65A Continuous Discharge

The INR21700S-65P supports a 52A maximum continuous discharge current without an 80°C cutoff, or up to 65A with an 80°C temperature cutoff. It is also rated for a maximum 165A pulse discharge for 10 seconds at 25±2°C.

Combined with an AC internal resistance of ≤4.5mΩ, the cell is designed to deliver high current efficiently for demanding loads.

6500mAh for Longer Runtime

High-discharge cells often require a compromise between power and capacity. The INR21700S-65P combines high-current capability with a substantial 6500mAh typical capacity, providing 23.4Wh of energy in a standard 21700-format cylindrical cell.

Under the manufacturer's specified discharge-rate testing, the cell retains approximately 97% relative capacity at 2C, 95% at 3C, 95% at 5C and 95% at 6C.

Cycle Performance

LINKDATA specifies ≥80% capacity retention after 600 cycles under a 6.5A charge / 6.5A discharge test at 25±2°C.

Under the more demanding 8A charge / 20A discharge cycle test, the specification lists ≥60% capacity retention after 500 cycles.

Wide Temperature Performance

The cell is engineered for operation across a wide temperature range. Manufacturer specifications list charging operation down to -10°C and discharge testing extending to extremely low temperatures. At -40°C, its 1C discharge test retains approximately 70% of the reference capacity under the specified standard test conditions.
