The Nitecore Ci2 is a double slot charger powered by a classic USB type C. Both QC and PD can be used to power this charger. The allowed inputs are the following: 5V⎓2A / 9V⎓2A / 12V⎓1.5A 18W (MAX), while the outputs according to the charged cell are the following 4.2V ± 1% / 1.48V ± 1%

With the Nitecore Ci2 it is possible to charge two batteries at the same time thanks to the two independent channels it is equipped with. On the single slot the Ci2 is able to supply over 3000mAh of charge current.

The Nitecore Ci2 is compatible with all lithium Li-ion batteries and with NiMH / Ni-Cd batteries in the following formats: MR / Li-ion: 10440, 14500, 14650, 16500, 16340 (RCR123), 16650, 17350, 17500 , 17650, 17670, 17700, 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 18700, 21700, 22500, 22650, 25500, 26500, 26650, 26700; Ni-MH / Ni-Cd: AA, AAA, AAAA, C, D

The Nitecore Ci2 is intelligent and manages to understand what type of battery has been inserted and to choose the best charging options for it: the charging mode will be automatically selected from CC, CV and -dV / dT. The charger also understands whether the inserted cell is a high-capacity cell and then selects the right charging current for it.

The Nitecore Ci2 is also very safe. in fact it has polarity inversion control and protection against short circuits and over discharge.
Made of flame retardant material, it is very robust and its design always guarantees maximum dissipation of the heat produced during the charging phase.
There are two charging modes allowed: Fast Charge Mode: 3,000mA * 1 MAX / 1,500mA * 2 MAX and Standard Mode: 2,000mA * 1 MAX / 1,000mA * 2 MAX
The dimensions are 148mm x 65mm x 37mm (5.83 "x 2.56" x 1.46 ") while the weight is 120.4g (4.25 oz) (Charging cable not included).

There is also a special charging program optimized for IMR cells: the process for recharging these cells constantly monitors the state of the batteries and ensures a cut-off voltage always on the safety limit. This increases the life of the batteries and makes the charging process extremely safe.

The Nitecore C12 also has a series of status LEDs that allow you to understand the charging progress: If the red LED is on it means that we are in Fast Charge Mode. When there are three green LEDs on, it means that charging has been completed. If there are only 2 green LEDs on, it means that the charge is still at 80%, if instead it is only 1 green LED on, it means that we are still at 30%.

Another function of this charger is the reactivation of over-discharged batteries with blocked protection circuit: after activation, the charger will check to try to understand if the cell is damaged. If the cell is damaged then we will see all three green status LEDs flash together with the red one.
The nItecore Ci2 also has an energy saving function which turns off all LED indicators if no battery is inserted inside it.
