The Nitecore Ci4 is a multifunctional, multi-channel charger with independent channels able to quickly and simultaneously charge 4 different batteries. It is compatible with all types of cylindrical batteries both Ni-MH / Ni-Cd type AA, AAA, AAAA, C and D and lithium IMR / Li-ion batteries of type 10440, 14500, 14650, 16500, 16340 ( RCR123), 16650, 17350, 17500, 17650, 17670, 17700, 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 18700, 21700, 22500, 22650, 25500, 26500, 26650, 26700.

To power the Nitecore Ci4, any USB power supply can be used via the Type-C cable supplied.

The Ci4 has 4 independent channels and its use is completely automatic, simple and intuitive. When a battery is inserted, the charger will first carry out a check to verify the state of the cell to determine the type of battery (for example Ni-MH or lithium), then the verification of the cell capacity set the best charging parameters.

During the charging process the LED status indicators will flash to indicate the battery power level. If the charging current is set by the charger and is higher than 1 ampere, the red status LED will light up to indicate that Fast Charge mode is active. When charging ends, the three green status LEDs will stay on constantly.

The Nitecore Ci4 is a safe charger in fact it has protection against polarity inversion and against short circuits: if the user, for example, inserts a battery incorrectly all the LEDs (3 green and 1 red) will flash simultaneously to report the problem.

The Nitecore Ci4 automatically chooses the most appropriate charging current for the type of battery inserted by checking the type of cell and its capacity when this is inserted into the charger. The Ci4 is compatible with 3.6 / 3.7V Lithium cells and 1.2 Ni-MH / Ni-Cd cells.

 The Ci4 can also be powered by QC / PD power supplies: in this case it is possible to have a maximum charging current of 3000 mA on the single slot.

Among the features of the Ci4 there is also that of being able to activate over discharged cells with blocked protection circuit: after installation, the charger will test the battery before recharging and if it is damaged the user will be warned thanks to the 4 LEDs they will flash. simultaneously on the slot used.

The Nitecore Ci4 also has the energy saving function that turns off all the LEDs when the batteries are not inserted inside. In addition, with overtime charging protection, the batteries are never overcharged: this extends the life of the cells and ensures safe charging, avoiding overheating and possible explosions due to problems due to low-quality or damaged batteries. The Nitecore Ci4 is certified by RoHS, CE, FCC and CEC.

It is made of flame retardant plastic and has a design that always guarantees perfect dissipation of the heat produced during the charging phase.
