The Nitecore NU05 v2 is a small and light emergency light to be used in cases where it is necessary to be visible in the dark or when a light point is needed, for example to signal one's presence. The Nitecore NU05 v2 uses 4 high-performance LEDs, two provide white light while the other two red light. Power is supplied by an integrated rechargeable lithium-ion battery that guarantees a maximum runtime of 47 hours. The intelligent charging integrated circuit allows fast charging of the cell via the USB-C port. The Nitecore NU05 v2 has a particular design with a square shape with a central switch that allows it to be used with one hand. The output modes are 4: two with red light and two with white light: in fact we have the mode with red light flashing slowly with an output of 4 lumens and a runtime of 10 hours, the mode with red light flashing quickly with an output of 4 lumens and duration of 10 hours, white light mode slowly flashing with 40 lumens and 4 hours of autonomy and mode with constant white light of 40 lumens and duration 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is also an additional mode that uses the small status LED located on the flashlight. It flashes slowly and can remain in operation for 47 hours. This is very useful in emergency situations where you need to signal your presence for a long time. It can also be installed as a taillight for example on an electric bicycle or even attached to your pet's collar when taking it for a walk on the street. Together with the flashlight, Nitecore also provides an elastic band to allow you to use the flashlight even on the head or on the helmet. The Nitecore NU05 v2.0 is made of durable PC material that can withstand shocks, wear and scratches. With an ultra-compact and ultra-light design, the NU05 v2.0 is resistant to water and dirt according to the IP66 standard and is resistant to falls up to 1 meter in height. The dimensions are 29.75 mm × 29.5 mm × 16.42 mm (1.17 "× 1.16" × 0.65 ") while the weight is 11.1g (0.39oz) including the battery. In the standard version of the NU05 v2 in the package comes the flashlight, a cable Type-C charging, The headband and the support for the bicycle. The management of the interface is done through the switch in the center of the flashlight. When the flashlight is off, briefly press the power button to turn it on and access the red indicator (slow flashing). Within 3 seconds after switching on, press the switch to cycle the levels "Red indicator (slow flashing) - Red light (slow flashing) - Red light (rapid flashing) - White light (slow flashing) - White light (steady on) - Standby ". When the flashlight is on, press the power button for 1 second to turn off the flashlight and enter the Lockout mode. In the Lockout mode, the indicator will flash once to inform the user whenever you t will enter to press the power button.In Lockout mode, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to unlock the flashlight and enter the light mode with red indicator (slow flashing). When the NU05 V2 is in standby, press and hold the power button for 1 second and the power indicator will flash to indicate the remaining cell charge: three flashes indicate over 50% charge, two flashes indicate less than 50% charge, a single flash indicates that the charge is less than 10%.
