The Nitecore NU25 UL is a small and light headlamp capable of delivering 400 lumens to the Turbo and reaching a distance of about 64 meters with a maximum light intensity of 1029 cd. The NU25 is powered by an internal non-removable 650 mAh lithium-ion cell which guarantees a maximum runtime on the lowest level of 90 hours on a single charge. The Nitecore NU25 UL is equipped with four different LED emitters: a Spotlight LED , a Floodlight LED and two auxiliary red lights. The lenses are of the TIR type with light transmission over 94% and guarantee a clean and balanced beam. The dimensions of this light are 60.1mm x 36.8mm x 24.9mm (2.37" x 1.45" x 0.98") while the weight is 45g / 1.59oz.

The Nitecore NU25 UL has two different switches for interface management. A power button for switching the light on and off, and for varying the different brightness levels and a Mode Button to switch from one mode to another. A double press on any switch will turn off the light when the flashlight is on. On the Nitecore NU25 UL there is also a battery status indicator: this is composed of a series of 4 blue LEDs that light up to indicate the residual capacity of the cell: for example, 4 LEDs on means 100% capacity, only 1 LED on capacity about 25%. The flashlight is recharged through the type-C charging interface located in the lower part of the flashlight. The water resistance is IP66 while the drop resistance is 1 meter.

This torch is ideal for all those activities that can be carried out outdoors and given its very low weight it is also comfortable to use for jogging and night running on the street or simply for walking the dog. This light is equipped with an elastic band which, coupled with a cord, is very comfortable to wear. The light stand allows you to rotate the torch head to direct the beam right where you need it. Thanks to the presence of a spot and a flood beam, this light allows you to illuminate well both in the immediate vicinity and at a great distance. In fact, the spot beam manages to reach 58 meters with 200 lumens of maximum output, while the flood light has an output angle of 100 degrees also with 200 lumens of maximum output. Adding the two beams together, an output of 400 lumens is obtained with effective lighting both in the immediate vicinity and over medium distances. The two auxiliary LEDs are indispensable in total darkness so as not to tire the eyes and can be useful for night observation, for night photography but also in emergency situations as signal lights. This light can also be quickly detached from the elastic band and used in the hand as needed or attached to other belts or backpacks.
