The Olight Array 2S is a multifunctional headlamp. It has a separate battery pack designed to be positioned in the back of the head, so with the optics facing forward. This design allows you to balance the weight of the batteries with the rest of the weight of the flashlight and therefore allows you to be able to move without the light bouncing.
The battery is connected to the LED module through a spring cable that allows you to extend it at will. The cell is included in the flashlight and is a non-removable 18650 3.6V 2600 mAh. On the battery pack there is the Type-C charging interface compatible with USB Power Delivery PD from USB-C to USB-C. A full charge takes approximately 4 and a half hours. Near the charging interface there are a series of bright status LEDs that allow the user to know the residual capacity of the cell.

The elastic band is particularly soft and comfortable to wear, ideal for example for jogging or camping. The inclination of the torch is adjustable up to 60 °. This allows you to point the flashlight where exactly you need it.
The Olight Array 2S has a “Hand Wave Control” sensor in front of the projector. When the light is on with this sensor, the user can adjust the brightness simply by moving his hand up and down or turn the reflectors on and off by moving his hands to the right or left.
The switch is located near the reflectors, it is large and simple to activate.
The Olight Array 2s has 3 different types of LEDs: a LED spot, a Flood type LED and a Red LED. The possible combinations Spot + Flood, only Flood or only Red, while the LED Spot cannot be used alone. The lenses are TIR so the beams are clean and well balanced.
The weight of the Array 2S is only 131 while the dimensions of the projector are 61mm x 31mm x 24.4mm.
The available output modes are Low Medium and High for each combination of LEDs. The user interface is complete and simple to use. The memory mode is present, so the flashlight will remember the last level used and will propose it again the next time it is switched on.
There is direct access to the strobe via triple click and direct access to the Flood Low beam by holding the switch for less than 1 second when the flashlight is off.
It is also possible to electronically lock the Olight Array 2S by holding the switch down for over a second when the flashlight is off.
The maximum brightness is 1000 lumens for the combination of Flood and Spot beam with a runtime of 4 hours and 140 meters of maximum reachable distance, 500 lumens for the Flood only beam with 5 hours of autonomy and maximum reachable distance of 65 meters, while 200 lumen is the maximum output for red light with 5 hours and 30 minutes of autonomy and 45 meters the maximum distance. The SOS level, on the other hand, has a maximum output of 20 minutes for a duration of 2 and a half hours.
