The Tank007 UVC31 UV is a flashlight that produces a beam of ultraviolet light useful for various circumstances. It is equipped with a latest generation Nichia UV LED of Japanese origin which produces pure UV light and has a useful life of 20,000 hours. This light is powered by a rechargeable lithium 18650 cell. The maximum luminous intensity of this model is >72000μW/cm2 at a distance of 15cm while it is >30000μW/cm2 at a distance of 38cm. The wavelength of the light beam is 365nm. The life of the lithium battery is approximately 3 hours when the light is used on the low output level. It is not necessary to warm up the lamp before use as was done on older obsolete models of UV lamps. In fact, just turn on the light and start using it immediately. In addition to the UV LED, this torch is equipped with a particular filter lens that only lets the UV light of the 365nm wavelength through. Recharging of the battery is done via the Type-C charging interface which is integrated into the body of the flashlight. There is reverse polarity protection which protects the light and internal circuitry should a careless user insert the battery incorrectly inside. There is a colorful LED status indicator that informs the user about the charging status of the cell: red light when charging, green light when fully charged, blue light when working normally, effectively indicating each status.. The Tank007 UVC31 UV is made of T6061 aircraft grade aluminum alloy and has a high temperature vacuum coated aluminum mirror reflector and a specialized black lens filter for UV light. The Type III hard anodized anti-abrasive finish makes the torch virtually indestructible. Waterproofing is given by the IPX-7 standard while resistance to falls is given up to 1.5m in height.
