Die Rovyvon Aurora A28 (G2) ist die aktualisierte und verbesserte Version der Aurora A28 der ersten Generation. Die Unterschiede zum Vorgängermodell sind hauptsächlich folgende: Ein Typ-C-Ladeanschluss ermöglicht schnelles Laden und aktualisiert die Taschenlampe auf den neuesten USB-Standard. Die Akkukapazität wurde von 600 mAh auf 850 mAh erhöht, wodurch sich die Laufzeiten und die Dauer der verschiedenen Leistungsstufen verlängern. Der Doppelschalter sorgt für eine deutlich einfachere Bedienung. Die Schnittstelle lässt sich elektronisch sperren, und der Mondlicht- und der Turbomodus sind über eine Tastenkombination erreichbar. An der Seite der Rovyvon Aurora A28 (G2) befinden sich drei multifunktionale, farbige Zusatz-LEDs.

Die Aurora A28 (G2) verfügt außerdem über einen kleinen Taschenclip aus Metall, mit dem die Taschenlampe an Kleidung, Taschen, Gürteln, Hüten, Rucksäcken und jedem MOLLE-System befestigt werden kann. Zu den Hauptmerkmalen gehört eine leistungsstarke LED. Sie können zwischen einer CREE XP-L LED und einer High CRI - Nichia 219C LED wählen. Die XP-L LED erzeugt einen kühlen Farbton mit sehr hoher Leistung, während die Version der Aurora A28 (G2) mit Nichia 219C LED ein warmes Licht mit einem hohen Farbwiedergabeindex erzeugt, sodass die Farben vom menschlichen Auge wie bei Tageslicht wahrgenommen werden. Die Abmessungen der Aurora A28 (G2) betragen 76 mm (Länge) x 21,5 mm (Durchmesser), während das Gewicht 50,2 g / 1,77 oz beträgt. Außer der Taschenlampe enthält das Paket auch ein Benutzerhandbuch, eine Garantiekarte, einen Taschenclip, ein USB-CA-Kabel, eine Ladeanschlussabdeckung, einen Schlüsselanhänger und einen O-Ring.

Die Rovyvon Aurora A28 (G2) ist eine extrem kleine und kompakte Taschenlampe mit sehr geringem Gewicht: Sie eignet sich ideal für den täglichen Gebrauch als klassisches EDC-Gerät. Sie lässt sich bequem in der Hosentasche oder im Beutel tragen. Sie liegt angenehm robust in der Hand: Der Kopf besteht aus Metall mit kleinen Fräsungen zur Wärmeableitung. Das Gehäuse hingegen besteht aus strapazierfähigem Polymermaterial und garantiert so hohe Verschleißfestigkeit. Es ist transparent und ermöglicht so den Blick auf die internen Schaltkreise der Taschenlampe sowie die Durchsicht des Lichts der zusätzlichen LEDs. Besonders praktisch sind die beiden elektronischen Schalter aus Metall. Praktisch ist auch der Ring am Ende, mit dem sich die Taschenlampe an einem Schlüsselband, einem Schlüsselanhänger oder einem kleinen Karabiner befestigen lässt. Die zusätzliche UV-LED ermöglicht die Überprüfung von Banknoten auf Fälschungen, während die zusätzliche Warm-LED mit ihrem vollständig diffusen Lichtstrahl ideal für die Beleuchtung sehr kurzer Distanzen ist, beispielsweise beim Lesen.
