Olight Baldr S ist eine taktische Taschenlampe, die speziell für die Montage an Waffen entwickelt wurde. Der optische Teil besteht aus einer Weißlicht-LED, die im Turbomodus eine Lichtleistung von 800 Lumen liefert (33 % mehr Licht als das Vorgängermodell). Zusätzlich verfügt sie über einen grünen Laserpointer, der bei Bedarf beim Zielen hilft.
Neben der hohen Stufe von 800 Lumen für das weiße LED-Licht gibt es auch eine niedrige Stufe von 100 Lumen. Die beiden Stufen von 800 und 100 Lumen haben Lichtintensitäten von 4400 cd bzw. 540 cd
Über den beidseitig bedienbaren Schalter auf der Rückseite der Taschenlampe lässt sich zwischen grünem Laserlicht und LED-Licht wechseln. Dabei kann zwischen reinem LED-Modus, reinem Laser oder der kombinierten Nutzung von LED und Laser gewählt werden.
Der Laserpointer lässt sich dank der zwei seitlichen Schrauben einfach einstellen.
Die Taschenlampe wird mit Schlittenadaptern für GL und 1913 geliefert. Somit kann die Olight Baldr S für Glock- und Picatinny-Railguns verwendet werden.
Dank der Entriegelung der Taschenlampe erfolgt die Befestigung an der Schiene sehr schnell. Zwei Befestigungsschrauben können am Schienenhalter angebracht werden. So bleibt der Laserpointer auch nach starkem Rückstoß immer perfekt fixiert.
Der Akku der Baldr S ist ein 3,7-V-Lithium-Ionen-Akku mit einer Kapazität von 380 mAh. Dadurch erreicht die Taschenlampe im 100-Lumen-Modus eine maximale Laufzeit von 140 Minuten. Die maximal erreichbare Reichweite beträgt ca. 130 Meter.
Das Aufladen des integrierten Akkus erfolgt über ein im Lieferumfang enthaltenes magnetisches USB-Kabel.
Die Abmessungen der Olight Baldr S sind besonders gering: Die Länge beträgt 63 mm, der Kopfdurchmesser 32,5 mm und der Körperdurchmesser 36 mm. Das Gewicht beträgt inklusive Akku 95 g.
Die Wasserfestigkeit wird gemäß IPX4-Standard gewährleistet, die Fallfestigkeit beträgt ca. 1 m.
Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind: Baldr S Taschenlampe mit integriertem Akku, Picatinny-Schienenmontageadapter (MIL-STD-1913), zwei HM 2,5 * 4,5 Innensechskantschrauben, zwei M4 * 4 Stellschrauben, ein Inbusschlüssel, eine Stellschraube mit ovaler Spitze, eine Stellschraube mit konischer Spitze, ein magnetisches MCC-USB-Kabel, mehrsprachiges Benutzerhandbuch.
