The Convoy L21B UV 365nm is a powerful ultraviolet flashlight designed for fluorescence detection, mineral hunting, inspection, security verification, and other UV applications. Equipped with a Luminus SBT-10X-UV 365nm LED, a large smooth reflector, and a regulated 3A Buck & Boost driver, it delivers concentrated UVA illumination in the proven L21B platform.

Powered by a replaceable 21700 Li-ion battery, the L21B UV combines strong UV performance with three selectable output levels, mode memory, and an optional ZWB2 filter for enhanced fluorescence contrast.

Luminus SBT-10X-UV 365nm LED

The L21B UV uses a Luminus SBT-10X-UV LED with a wavelength of 365nm.

365nm UVA is well suited for exciting fluorescent materials and is commonly used for mineral observation, fluorescent material detection, security-mark inspection, UV-reactive objects, and other specialized inspection applications.

Large Smooth Reflector

The large head and smooth reflector help concentrate the UV output into a more focused beam, making the L21B particularly suitable for applications where greater working distance is required.

Compared with compact UV flashlights designed mainly for close-range inspection, the L21B provides a larger optical system for more concentrated UV illumination.

Optional ZWB2 Filter

An optional ZWB2 filter is available for the L21B UV.

The filter helps reduce unwanted visible light while allowing useful UVA to pass through, making fluorescence easier to distinguish from the surrounding environment.

For applications such as fluorescent mineral hunting and fluorescence inspection, the ZWB2 filter is recommended.

Three Output Levels

The L21B UV features a simple three-level interface:

5% → 30% → 100%

Use the lower levels for close-range inspection or when maximum output is unnecessary, then switch to 100% when stronger UV illumination is required.

Mode memory recalls the previously used output level for convenient repeated operation.

3A Buck & Boost Driver

A regulated Buck & Boost driver provides up to 3A output to the SBT-10X-UV emitter.

This regulated driver system is designed to provide controlled power delivery across the usable battery voltage range, making it well suited to the higher-performance UV configuration of the L21B.

Replaceable 21700 Battery

The Convoy L21B UV is powered by a single 21700 Li-ion battery, providing high capacity while retaining the convenience of a replaceable cell.

The flashlight also features low-voltage warning and reverse-polarity protection for safer everyday operation.

Durable L21B Construction

Built around the Convoy L21B platform, the flashlight features a durable aluminum-alloy body and a substantial 62.6mm head to accommodate its large optical system.

The flashlight measures approximately 170.5mm in length and weighs approximately 212g without battery.

It is also capable of tail-standing for situations where stationary illumination is useful.
