Die Imalent SR16 ist eine Hochleistungs-Taschenlampe mit einem Lichtstrahl von maximal 55.000 Lumen. Die Imalent SR16 ist mit sechs in den USA hergestellten XHP50.3 HI-LEDs ausgestattet, die speziell für Taschenlampen entwickelt wurden, bei denen ein weitreichender Lichtstrahl erforderlich ist. Dank der XHP50.3 HI-LEDs, der tief polierten Multiparabel und der supertransparenten Mineralglaslinse erreicht die Imalent SR16 eine unglaubliche Reichweite von 1715 Metern. Die Imalent SR16 wird von einem integrierten, nicht herausnehmbaren Akkupack mit vier leistungsstarken 21700-Zellen betrieben, die im 50-Lumen-Mondlichtmodus eine maximale Laufzeit von 98 Stunden garantieren. Die Imalent SR16 misst 109 mm (Kopfdurchmesser), 56 mm (Gehäusedurchmesser) und 158 mm (Länge). Damit ist sie etwas größer als eine Coladose. Das Nettogewicht beträgt inklusive Batterie 1130 g. Die Konstantstromschaltung der Imalent SR16 sorgt dafür, dass die Leuchtkraft auch bei längerem Gebrauch auf mittlerer bis niedriger Stufe konstant bleibt. Das bedeutet, dass die Leuchtkraft bei sinkender Akkuspannung nicht abnimmt, sondern bis zur vollständigen Entladung der Akkukapazität konstant bleibt. Die Benutzeroberfläche bietet neben den normalen Helligkeitsstufen auch den 55.000-Lumen-Turbomodus, einen Stroboskopmodus und einen sehr nützlichen Mondlichtmodus. Die Imalent SR16 ist zudem eine sichere Taschenlampe, da sie über mehrere Schutz- und Temperaturkontrollsysteme verfügt: Bei zu starker Temperaturanstieg wird die Helligkeit automatisch reduziert, damit das Gehäuse abkühlen kann. und mögliche Schäden an Schaltkreisen, LEDs und Batterie zu vermeiden. Darüber hinaus ist die Imalent SR16 mit einem aktiven Wärmeableitungssystem ausgestattet, das aus zwei kleinen Lüftern besteht, die die Luft auf den Kopf der Taschenlampe drücken und so eine schnelle Wärmeableitung ermöglichen. Die Lüfter können sowohl bei eingeschaltetem als auch bei ausgeschaltetem Licht eingeschaltet bleiben.

Das Gehäuse der SR16 besteht vollständig aus einer Aluminiumlegierung für die Luft- und Raumfahrt mit hartanodisierter Oberflächenbehandlung Typ III: Dies garantiert der Taschenlampe hohe Verschleiß-, Kratz- und Korrosionsbeständigkeit. Die Wasserdichtigkeit entspricht der Schutzart IP56, während die Fallfestigkeit bis zu einer Höhe von 0,5 m gewährleistet ist. Dank ihrer enormen Leistung und ihrer maximalen Reichweite von über 1700 Metern eignet sich die Imalent SR16 ideal für alle Such- und Rettungseinsätze, die den Einsatz von Lampen mit großer Reichweite erfordern. Zwei Lüfter zur aktiven Wärmeableitung gewährleisten eine gute Wärmeverteilung und somit einen hohen Bedienkomfort. Der Akku lässt sich über die Ladeschnittstelle am Ende der Taschenlampe in nur zwei Stunden aufladen. Die Statusanzeigen an der Taschenlampe informieren den Benutzer über den Ladezustand des Akkus. An der Imalent SR16 kann zusätzlich ein Griff montiert werden, mit dem die Taschenlampe bequem in der Hand gehalten werden kann. Er besteht aus Metall und lässt sich schnell und einfach montieren und demontieren.
