Die Nextorch oStar ist eine multifunktionale Stirnlampe mit einem maximalen Turbo von 500 Lumen. Sie ist für die Montage an Helmen konzipiert, ohne dass ein Clip zur Befestigung erforderlich ist, aber auch für die direkte Verwendung auf dem Kopf wie eine normale Stirnlampe. Ihr besonderes Design ermöglicht dank des eingebauten Magneten auch die Befestigung an der Eisenstruktur. Alle mitgelieferten Zubehörteile sind für die separate Verwendung kombinierbar: Wir haben das Gummiband, die Kunststoffhalterung zur Befestigung der Taschenlampe an der Vorderseite und das Taschenlampengehäuse. Das modulare Design ermöglicht es, die Taschenlampe auf unterschiedliche Weise zu installieren und für unterschiedliche Szenarien unterschiedlich zu verwenden. Die Nextorch oStar Can kann tatsächlich schnell an einem Helm montiert werden, der mit einer NVG-Halterung ausgestattet ist, kann aber auch mithilfe des Kopfbands und der Halterung an anderen Helmtypen angebracht oder mithilfe des Kopfbands direkt auf dem Kopf getragen werden. Der Schalter zur Verwaltung der Schnittstelle ist einzigartig und ermöglicht den Zugriff auf vier verschiedene Verwendungsmodi: Tatsächlich haben wir eine niedrige Ausgangsleistung von 25 Lumen und eine Laufzeit von 60 Stunden mit 27 m maximal erreichbarer Entfernung, was 182 Kerzen entspricht, eine mittlere Leistung von 185 Lumen, 14 Stunden Laufzeit, 75 m maximal erreichbarer Entfernung und 1406 Kerzen maximaler Lichtintensität und eine hohe Leistung von 500 Lumen mit einer Autonomie von 6 Stunden und 30 Minuten mit einer maximal erreichbaren Entfernung von 131 m und 4290 Kerzen maximaler Lichtintensität. Eine SOS-Blinkstufe mit 185 Lumen ist ebenfalls verfügbar. Die Abmessungen der Taschenlampe betragen 78 mm Länge, 65 mm Breite und 46 mm Höhe. Das Gewicht beträgt stattdessen 87 Gramm, was 3,06 Unzen entspricht. Die Taschenlampe wird von einem wiederaufladbaren Lithium-Ionen-Akku (Modell 18.650) mit Strom versorgt. Die maximale Leistung beträgt 5 Watt. Die Steuerung erfolgt über einen einzigen elektronischen, gummierten Schalter, der auch mit dicken Handschuhen leicht zugänglich und bedienbar ist. Dank des magnetischen Designs lässt sich die Taschenlampe auch freihändig bedienen, indem sie an jeder Metalloberfläche, beispielsweise der Motorhaube, befestigt wird. Der um 120° verstellbare Kopf ermöglicht die gezielte Ausrichtung des Lichtstrahls. Die Lampe lässt sich einfach auf einer Halterung montieren und demontieren. Ein Druck auf die einziehbare Schnalle genügt, um die Lampe einfach abzunehmen oder anzubringen. Die Nextorch oStar besteht vollständig aus Nylon-Glasfaser und ist wasserdicht nach IPX4-Standard sowie sturzsicher bis zu 2 m Höhe. Das Nylon-Glasfasergehäuse macht die Taschenlampe extrem leicht und robust und hält Belastungen, Kratzern, Witterungseinflüssen und Verschleiß stand. Der Nextorch oStar wird außerdem mit einem Clip (Kantendicke weniger als 8 mm) geliefert, der eine schnelle und einfache Installation ohne zusätzliche Klemmen an jedem Helmtyp ermöglicht.
