Die Nitecore NU25 UL ist eine kleine und leichte Stirnlampe, die 400 Lumen bis zum Turbo liefert und eine Reichweite von etwa 64 Metern bei einer maximalen Lichtintensität von 1029 cd erreicht. Die Nitecore NU25 UL verfügt über zwei verschiedene Schalter zur Schnittstellenverwaltung: einen Power-Knopf zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Lichts und zum Variieren der Helligkeitsstufen sowie einen Mode-Knopf zum Wechseln zwischen den Modi. Ein Doppeldruck auf einen beliebigen Schalter schaltet das Licht aus, wenn die Taschenlampe eingeschaltet ist. Die Nitecore NU25 UL verfügt außerdem über eine Batteriestandsanzeige: Diese besteht aus vier blauen LEDs, die die Restkapazität der Zelle anzeigen: Leuchten beispielsweise vier LEDs, bedeutet dies 100 % Kapazität, leuchtet nur eine LED, bedeutet dies etwa 25 %. Die Taschenlampe wird über den Typ-C-Ladeanschluss an der Unterseite der Taschenlampe aufgeladen. Die Taschenlampe ist wasserdicht nach IP66 und sturzsicher bis zu einem Meter.

Diese Taschenlampe eignet sich ideal für alle Aktivitäten im Freien und ist aufgrund ihres geringen Gewichts auch bequem zum Joggen und Nachtlaufen auf der Straße oder einfach zum Gassigehen mit dem Hund zu verwenden. Diese Lampe ist mit einem elastischen Band ausgestattet, das in Verbindung mit einer Kordel sehr angenehm zu tragen ist. Mit dem Lampenstativ können Sie den Lampenkopf drehen, um den Strahl genau dorthin zu lenken, wo Sie ihn brauchen. Dank eines Punkt- und eines Flutlichtstrahls können Sie mit dieser Lampe sowohl die unmittelbare Umgebung als auch große Entfernungen gut ausleuchten. Tatsächlich erreicht der Punktstrahl 58 Meter mit 200 Lumen maximaler Leistung, während das Flutlicht einen Abstrahlwinkel von 100 Grad mit ebenfalls 200 Lumen maximaler Leistung hat. Addiert man die beiden Strahlen, erhält man eine Leistung von 400 Lumen mit effektiver Beleuchtung sowohl in der unmittelbaren Umgebung als auch über mittlere Entfernungen. Die beiden Zusatz-LEDs sind bei völliger Dunkelheit unverzichtbar, um die Augen nicht zu ermüden und können bei der Nachtbeobachtung, bei Nachtfotografie aber auch in Notsituationen als Signalleuchten nützlich sein. Auch diese Leuchte lässt sich schnell vom Gummiband lösen und bei Bedarf in der Hand tragen oder an anderen Gürteln oder Rucksäcken befestigen.
