Die Olight i1R 2 Pro ist eine sehr kleine 180-Lumen-EDC-Taschenlampe, die von einem sehr kleinen wiederaufladbaren 130-mAh-Li-Ionen-10220-Akku angetrieben wird. Es gibt nur zwei mögliche Leistungsstufen: High-Modus mit 180 Lumen, einer maximalen Laufzeit von 23 Minuten und einer maximalen Reichweite von 48 Metern. In diesem Modus beträgt die maximale Helligkeit 580 cd. Low-Modus mit 5 Lumen, einer Laufzeit von über 12 Stunden und einer maximalen Reichweite von 10 Metern. In diesem Fall beträgt die maximale Helligkeit 25 Candela.
Die Abmessungen des i1R 2 Pro betragen lediglich 51,3 mm x 16,2 mm, während das Gewicht inklusive Akku lediglich 22 g beträgt. Die Wasserbeständigkeit beträgt IPX8, während die Stoßfestigkeit bis zu 1,5 Metern garantiert ist.

Die i1R Pro verfügt über einen eingebauten, nicht herausnehmbaren Akku. Zum Laden des internen Akkus befindet sich an der Seite der Taschenlampe eine Typ-C-Ladeschnittstelle. Ein USB-AC-Kabel ist im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Neben der Ladeschnittstelle befindet sich eine LED-Ladeanzeige, die rot leuchtet, wenn der Akku geladen wird, oder grün, wenn der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen ist. Die Ladezeit beträgt 100 Minuten.
Die Benutzeroberfläche ist sehr einfach und benutzerfreundlich: Zum Einschalten der Taschenlampe schrauben Sie den Kopf einfach vollständig fest. Um von einer Stufe zur anderen zu wechseln, schrauben Sie den Kopf zweimal ab und wieder fest.
Das Gehäuse der Olight i1R Pro besteht aus Aluminium und verfügt über eine leichte Rändelung, die die Griffigkeit verbessert.
