Die Olight i3T EOS Carbon Fiber ist eine kleine EDC-Taschenlampe aus Carbonfaser. Carbonfaser ist ein synthetisches Material, das extrem hohe Festigkeit mit extrem geringem Gewicht verbindet. Die maximale Helligkeit beträgt 180 Lumen mit einer einzigen AAA 1,5 V Batterie. Die Olight i3T EOS Carbon Fiber ist extrem kompakt und kann mit 1x AAA-Zellen betrieben werden, die in jedem Geschäft oder sogar im Supermarkt erhältlich sind. Das Gehäuse besteht vollständig aus Kohlefaser, ist wasserdicht nach IPX-8-Standard und hält Stürzen aus bis zu 1,5 Metern Höhe stand. Die Philips LUXEON TX LED der Olight i3T EOS Carbon Fiber Plus erzeugt in Kombination mit der optischen Linse aus PMMA einen breiten, homogenen und artefaktfreien Lichtstrahl. Es gibt nur zwei Leistungsstufen: die High-Stufe mit 180 Lumen und einer Laufzeit von 21 Minuten sowie die Low-Stufe mit 5 Lumen und einer Laufzeit von 16 Stunden. Blinkstufen wie Strobo, SOS oder Beacon sind nicht verfügbar.

Die Benutzeroberfläche ist sehr einfach: Beim ersten Einschalten schaltet sich die Lampe standardmäßig im Low-Modus ein. Die Olight i3T EOS Carbon Fiber verfügt außerdem über eine Momentan-Ein-Funktion: Drücken Sie bei ausgeschalteter Taschenlampe einfach leicht auf den Schalter, um die Taschenlampe einzuschalten. Lassen Sie den Schalter los, um das Licht auszuschalten. Um vom Momentan-Low-Modus in den High-Modus zu wechseln, drücken Sie den Schalter leicht und schnell, ohne zu klicken, lassen Sie die Taste los und drücken Sie erneut, ohne zu klicken.

Drücken Sie den Schalter ganz durch, bis er klickt, um die Taschenlampe im Dauerlichtmodus einzuschalten. Um von niedriger auf konstant hohe Stufe umzuschalten, schalten Sie die Taschenlampe einfach innerhalb von zwei Sekunden nach dem Ausschalten ein: Auf diese Weise wechseln Sie vom niedrigen in den hohen Modus und umgekehrt. Wenn das Licht nach zwei Sekunden wieder eingeschaltet wird, schaltet es sich standardmäßig direkt im niedrigen Modus ein. Aufgrund der extrem kleinen Abmessungen und des sehr geringen Gewichts dank des Carbonmaterials, aus dem die Taschenlampe besteht, kann diese Lampe sehr bequem in der Tasche oder im Rucksack aufbewahrt werden. Wenn Sie sie in der Tasche tragen, vergessen Sie, dass Sie sie haben.
