Die Olight I5T EOS ist eine kleine EDC-Taschenlampe mit langer und schmaler Form, die sich perfekt in die Tasche und überallhin mitnehmen lässt. Ihre maximale Helligkeit beträgt 300 Lumen. Olight bietet sie in verschiedenen Gehäusefarben an: Black RSV, Blau, Desert Tan, Titanium, Dragon & Phoenix, Autism Awareness Edition und Stardust.

Die extrem kompakte Olight I5T EOS kann mit einzelnen AA-Zellen betrieben werden, die in jedem Geschäft oder sogar im Supermarkt erhältlich sind. Eine nicht wiederaufladbare 1,5-V-AA-Alkalibatterie ist im Lieferumfang enthalten. Olight garantiert zudem die Kompatibilität mit einem AA-NiMH-Akku und einem 1,5-V-AA-Alkali-Akku. Nicht kompatibel mit Lithium-Ionen-Akkus. Die maximale Laufzeit beträgt 20 Stunden bei einem Gewicht von nur 60 g (inklusive Taschenclip und Akku). Die maximale Reichweite beträgt 60 Meter dank der maximalen Lichtintensität von 910 Kerzen auf der Stufe „High“.

Das Gehäuse besteht vollständig aus einer Aluminiumlegierung und ist gemäß IPX-8-Standard wasserdicht sowie sturzsicher bis zu einer Höhe von 1,5 Metern. Die Olight i5T EOS ist auch in zwei verschiedenen Designs mit unterschiedlicher Rändelung erhältlich. Die Doppelhelix-Fräsung und die Kieselgravuren verleihen der Olight I5T nicht nur ein ästhetisch ansprechendes Aussehen, sondern verbessern auch die Griffigkeit, die unter allen Bedingungen, selbst mit feuchten oder nassen Händen, stets perfekt ist.

Die LED der Olight i5T EOS in Kombination mit der optischen PMMA-Linse ermöglicht einen breiten und homogenen Lichtstrahl ohne Artefakte. Es gibt nur zwei Leistungsstufen: die hohe Stufe mit einer Leistung von 300 ~ 150 ~ 30 Lumen und einer Autonomie von 3 + 25 + 122 Minuten sowie die niedrige Stufe mit 15 Lumen und einer Autonomie von 20 Stunden. Blinkstufen wie Strobo, SOS oder Beacon sind nicht verfügbar.

Die Abmessungen der Olight i5T EOS betragen: Gehäusedurchmesser 0,7 Zoll / 17,8 mm, Länge 3,74 Zoll / 95 mm, während das Gewicht 2,12 Unzen (60 g) beträgt (einschließlich Taschenclip und Batterien).

Die Benutzeroberfläche ist sehr einfach: Beim ersten Einschalten schaltet sich die Lampe standardmäßig im Low-Modus ein. Die Olight i5T EOS verfügt außerdem über eine Momentan-Ein-Funktion: Drücken Sie bei ausgeschalteter Taschenlampe einfach leicht auf den Schalter, um die Taschenlampe einzuschalten. Lassen Sie den Schalter los, um das Licht auszuschalten. Um vom Momentan-Low-Modus in den High-Modus zu wechseln, drücken Sie den Schalter leicht und schnell, ohne zu klicken, lassen Sie die Taste los und drücken Sie erneut, ohne zu klicken.

Drücken Sie den Schalter vollständig durch, bis er einrastet, um die Taschenlampe im Dauerlichtmodus einzuschalten. Um von schwach auf konstant stark umzuschalten, schalten Sie die Taschenlampe einfach innerhalb von zwei Sekunden nach dem Ausschalten wieder ein: So wechseln Sie vom schwachen in den starken Modus und umgekehrt. Wird die Lampe nach zwei Sekunden wieder eingeschaltet, schaltet sie sich standardmäßig direkt im schwachen Modus ein.
