Die Olight Javelot Mini ist eine Taschenlampe für den täglichen EDC-Einsatz mit großer Reichweite. Sie ist extrem kompakt und erreicht eine maximale Reichweite von 600 Metern bei einer maximalen Lichtleistung von 1000 Lumen. Die Taschenlampe wird mit einer wiederaufladbaren Lithium-Ionen-Zelle (Modell 18500) mit 2040 mAh betrieben. Die maximale Laufzeit beträgt 4 Stunden und 57 Minuten bei niedrigster Leistungsstufe. Die Rückseite der Taschenlampe, das sogenannte „Tail“, folgt dem Olight-Zwei-in-Eins-Design: Die Funktionen des „Tail“ sind zweifach und sehr unterschiedlich. Das Ende kann als Ladeschnittstelle für die kundenspezifischen USB-Kabel von Olight verwendet werden. Außerdem kann mit dem Daumen ein schneller Zugriff auf die Funktionen der Taschenlampe ermöglicht werden. Das Gehäuse der Olight Javelot Mini besteht aus einer Aluminiumlegierung für die Luftfahrt und ist sturzsicher aus bis zu 1,5 Metern Höhe. Die Wasserdichtigkeit beträgt IPX8, sodass die Taschenlampe bis zu einer Tiefe von zwei Metern unbeschadet tauchfähig ist. In der Nähe des Kopfes befinden sich tiefe Ableitungsrippen, die die Wärmeableitung unterstützen, die bei der Verwendung der Taschenlampe in großen Höhen entsteht. Im mittleren Teil des Gehäuses befindet sich eine großzügige Rändelung, die den Griff der Taschenlampe sicherer und angenehmer macht. Der taktische Schalter mit weichem Design ist ein Doppelhubschalter: Ein kurzer Druck aktiviert den Low-Modus und ein vollständiger Druck den High-Modus. Die gezahnte Lünette schützt die Linse wirksam vor Stößen oder Stürzen und kann bei Bedarf auch als Glasbrecher verwendet werden. Die Olight Javelot Mini ist in zwei Farben erhältlich: Schwarz und Militärgrün. Sie ist eine der ersten Olight-Taschenlampen mit runder LED-Lichtquelle, die einen gleichmäßigeren und homogeneren Lichtstrahl erzeugt. Die spezielle, flache und gleichzeitig konkave Heckabdeckung bietet eine komfortablere Bedienung mit dem Daumen und ermöglicht dank des vorhandenen Magneten eine sichere Befestigung an magnetischen Oberflächen. Zum mitgelieferten Zubehör gehört ein Holster mit neuem Design, das vielseitig einsetzbar ist: Es kann am Gürtel, am Dienstgürtel, am Rucksackgurt, an der Tasche und vielen anderen Dingen befestigt werden. Die Schnittstelle verfügt außerdem über eine Vibrationswarnung bei niedrigem Batteriestand: Ein kleiner interner Motor vibriert, um den Benutzer auf einen Batteriewechsel aufmerksam zu machen. Bei einer Zellenkapazität unter 0 % vibriert die Taschenlampe alle 5 Minuten einmal, bei einer Kapazität unter 10 % zweimal pro Minute und bei einer Kapazität unter 5 % dreimal alle 10 Sekunden. Die Leistungsstufen sind wie folgt aufgeteilt: Hoch (1.000 ~ 500 ~ 200 Lumen mit einer Dauer von 6,5 + 78 + 19 Minuten), Niedrig (200 Lumen mit einer Dauer von 297 Minuten), wobei weder Stroboskop noch SOS vorhanden sind. Die Abmessungen betragen 32 mm (1,26 Zoll) Körperdurchmesser, 40 mm (1,57 Zoll) Kopfdurchmesser, 115 mm (4,53 Zoll) Länge und das Gewicht beträgt 154 g (5,43 oz).
