Diese Taschenlampe ist extrem leistungsstark und erreicht mit einer einzigen wiederaufladbaren 21700 Lithium-Ionen-Zelle eine Lichtleistung von 3000 Lumen im Turbo-Modus. Sie verfügt über eine magnetische Ladeschnittstelle, sodass die eingebaute Zelle geladen werden kann, ohne dass sie herausgenommen werden muss. Die Benutzeroberfläche der Skilhunt M300 V2 bietet sieben Stufen: zwei niedrige (L1 und L2), zwei mittlere (M1 und M2), eine hohe (H1) und zwei Turbo-Stufen (T1 und T2). Die maximale Lichtstärke beträgt 12000 cd für die NW-Version, 20000 cd für die CW-Version, 10000 cd für die Ra90-Version und 9500 cd für die 144ART-Version.

Das Gehäuse der Taschenlampe besteht vollständig aus Aluminium und ist stoß-, kratz- und wetterfest. Die Taschenlampe wird mit einem Gürtelclip aus Edelstahl geliefert. Damit lässt sich die Taschenlampe an jedem Kleidungsstück oder MOLLE-System befestigen. Die geriffelte Oberfläche im Mittelteil des Gehäuses erhöht die Griffigkeit und verbessert den Halt unter allen Bedingungen, selbst bei feuchten oder nassen Händen oder beim Tragen besonders dicker Handschuhe.

Das Paket des Skilhunt M300 V2 ist reichhaltig: Tatsächlich haben wir zusätzlich zur Taschenlampe auch einen Gürtelclip, ein Handgelenkband, einen Ersatz-O-Ring und ein spezielles USB-Ladekabel.

Die Taschenlampe besteht ganz aus einer Aluminiumlegierung und ist wasserdicht gemäß IPX-8-Standard, also bis zu 2 m tauchfähig und stoßfest bis zu 1 m Höhe. Auf dem Schalter befindet sich auch eine Ladestandsanzeige: Bei jedem Einschalten leuchtet die Anzeige 5 Sekunden lang, um die Batterieladung anzuzeigen: Konstant blau Leistung >80 %, blinkend blau Leistung 80–50 %, konstant rot Leistung 50–20 %, blinkend rot Leistung <20 %. Der Seitenschalter funktioniert auch als Standortanzeige: So finden Sie das Licht im Dunkeln leicht: Doppelklicken Sie auf den Schalter, um die Anzeige des Seitenschalters ein-/auszuschalten. Die Benutzeroberfläche bietet auch eine Sperrfunktion, die bei ausgeschaltetem Licht mit 4 Klicks aktiviert werden kann. Im ausgeschalteten Zustand doppelklicken Sie, um in den Turbomodus zu wechseln, und halten Sie den Schalter gedrückt, um von T1 auf T2 zu wechseln. Klicken Sie im Turbomodus dreimal, um in den Stroboskopmodus zu wechseln, oder doppelklicken Sie, um zur Stufengruppe M2-M1-H zu wechseln. Bei ausgeschaltetem Licht besteht mit 3 Klicks direkter Zugriff auf den Stroboskop-Modus oder durch Gedrückthalten des Schalters auf den Low-Modus.
