Die Tank007 CI05 UV ist eine kleine und kompakte UV-Taschenlampe für CSI und forensische Sicherheitsinspektionen. Sie ist sehr leicht und bequem zu tragen, zum Beispiel in der Hosentasche oder im Beutel. Sie ist mit einer UV-LED ausgestattet, die einen Strahl mit 365 nm und 6200 uW/cm² bei 15 cm und 950 uW/cm² bei 38 cm Entfernung erzeugt. Der Strahlfleckdurchmesser beträgt 150 mm bei 300 mm Entfernung, 250 mm bei 500 mm Entfernung und 500 mm bei 1000 mm Entfernung.

Der integrierte Konstantstromkreis sorgt für eine stets stabile Ausgangsleistung auch bei sinkender Zellspannung. Außerdem tritt kein störendes PWM auf, wie es bei Taschenlampen ohne Konstantstromkreis häufig vorkommt.

Die Schnittstellenverwaltung erfolgt über einen gummierten Endschalter, mit dem Sie die Taschenlampe schnell und sehr präzise auf der einzigen verfügbaren Ausgangsstufe ein- und ausschalten können.

Die Abmessungen dieser Lampe sind extrem klein: 33 mm Durchmesser am Kopf und 159 mm Länge am Körper bei einem Gewicht von 140 Gramm ohne Batterie (18650). Die Taschenlampe besteht vollständig aus Luftfahrtaluminium mit eloxierter Oberfläche, was sie extrem robust, langlebig, kratz-, abrieb- und wetterfest macht. Die Fallfestigkeit beträgt bis zu 1,5 Meter Höhe. Die harte Oxidation des Körpers macht sie zudem extrem oxidationsbeständig.

Die Tank007 CI05 UV ist außerdem eine sichere Taschenlampe, da sie über ein Verpolungsschutzsystem verfügt, das eine Beschädigung der Taschenlampe verhindert, wenn ein unaufmerksamer Benutzer die Batterie falsch in die Taschenlampe einlegt.

Am Kopf befinden sich dicke und tiefe Wärmeableitungsrippen, während am Körper eine feine Rändelung vorhanden ist, die dieser Taschenlampe eine angenehme Haptik verleiht und zudem die Griffigkeit verbessert: Auch mit Handschuhen oder feuchten bzw. nassen Händen liegt sie immer perfekt in der Hand.

Das erzeugte UV-Licht kann in verschiedenen Szenarien nützlich sein: Es ist beispielsweise möglich, die Echtheit von Banknoten, das Vorhandensein von Fett oder Körperflüssigkeiten zu überprüfen oder es kann zur Behandlung von Harzen verwendet werden, die unter UV-Licht aushärten. Die Wasserbeständigkeit entspricht dem IPX7-Standard.

Im Lieferumfang sind neben der Tank CI05 UV-Taschenlampe auch ein wiederaufladbarer 18650 Lithium-Ionen-Akku, ein Type-C-Ladekabel, ein Trageband und eine Bedienungsanleitung enthalten.
