Die TANK007 M20 ist eine kleine EDC-Taschenlampe mit magnetischer Kappe, extrem kompakt und sehr leicht. Diese Taschenlampe ist speziell für verschiedene Einsatzzwecke konzipiert, wird aber besonders für die Reparatur von Maschinen geschätzt. Dank der besonderen Verarbeitung des Gehäuses mit der markanten Rändelung liegt die Lampe selbst mit feuchten oder nassen Händen immer perfekt in der Hand. Darüber hinaus bietet sie ein hervorragendes Tastgefühl. Die Endkappe im Inneren verfügt über einen starken Neodym-Magneten, mit dem sich die Lampe horizontal und vertikal an jeder Metalloberfläche befestigen lässt. So lässt sich der Magnet freihändig bedienen. Wird er nicht benötigt, lässt er sich auch abnehmen. Die Steuerung erfolgt nicht über einen Knopf. Zum Ein- und Ausschalten der Lampe wird einfach der Lampenkopf auf- oder abgeschraubt. Die maximale Helligkeit beträgt 160 Lumen, die maximale Leuchtweite 120 Lumen. Die TANK007 M20 wird mit einer AA-Zelle (Ni-MH oder Alkaline) betrieben, kann aber auch mit einer wiederaufladbaren 3,7-V-Lithium-14500-Zelle betrieben werden. Die Betriebsspannung reicht von 0,8 V bis 4,2 V. Bei höchster Leistung leuchtet das Licht 0,6 Stunden lang. Das Gehäuse der TANK007 M20 besteht aus robustem Aluminium Typ T6061 und verfügt über eine Harteloxierung Typ III mit einer abriebfesten Beschichtung, die Kratzern, Abnutzung, Stößen und Stürzen widersteht. Die Linse besteht aus dickem, gehärtetem Glas und ist sehr robust. Die Taschenlampe ist wasserdicht nach IPX8-Standard und hält Stürzen aus bis zu 1,5 m Höhe stand. Die Abmessungen betragen 8,8 cm Länge und 2,2 cm Durchmesser. Das Gewicht ohne Batterie beträgt 57,8 Gramm. Im Lieferumfang befinden sich neben der Taschenlampe auch eine Handschlaufe, ein Ersatz-O-Ring und eine Bedienungsanleitung. Die Batterie ist allerdings nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.

Die Konstantstromschaltung sorgt für einen stets stabilen Ausgang, auch wenn die Zellspannung sinkt: Das bedeutet, dass die Helligkeit während der Verwendung der Taschenlampe immer konstant bleibt und das PWM nicht einmal vorhanden ist.

Klein, leicht und sehr robust sind Eigenschaften, die diese Leuchte ideal als Immer-dabei-Taschenlampe bei der Arbeit, in der Werkstatt aber auch für den alltäglichen Gebrauch machen.
