Die Wuben G2 ist eine kleine 500-Lumen-Schlüsselanhänger-Taschenlampe mit einer Osram P9 LED. Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind: die Wuben G2 Schlüsselanhänger-Taschenlampe, ein Ladekabel (USB auf USB-C), ein Taschenclip, eine mehrsprachige Bedienungsanleitung und eine Garantiekarte.

Die Abmessungen betragen 58,5 mm x 27 mm und das Gewicht beträgt lediglich 28 g. Die Wuben G2 ist besonders schlank und flach gestaltet und lässt sich bequem in der Tasche tragen oder in der Hand halten. Sie ist 9 mm dick. Die Taschenlampe weist keine Rändelung auf, sodass das Gehäuse glatt und sauber ist. Der elektronische Schalter befindet sich rechts neben der USB-C-Schnittstelle. Der Schalter besteht aus Kunststoff, ist leicht zu bedienen und reagiert sehr schnell. An der Lampe ist ein Schlüsselring vormontiert. Dieser lässt sich jedoch drehen und die Kunststoffplatte an der Unterseite der Lampe entfernen. So können Sie die Lampe beispielsweise von Ihrem Schlüssel (oder Ihrer Tasche oder was auch immer Sie sonst befestigt haben) lösen, um sie zu verwenden oder aufzuladen. Sie können die Lampe auch ohne Schlüsselanhänger befestigen. Im Lieferumfang ist ein Gürtelclip aus Kunststoff enthalten. Dieser lässt sich mithilfe der kleinen Rillen an der Seite des Lampengehäuses und der kleinen Aussparungen an den Seiten der Lampe ganz einfach und schnell an der Rückseite der G2 befestigen.

Das Gehäuse dieser Lampe besteht aus einem einzigartigen Stück Metall (Aluminium) mit einer Kunststoffkappe an beiden Enden. Die Schlüsselanhänger-Befestigung und der Gürtelclip sind beide gut gemacht. Wuben verwendet eine OSRAM P9-LED hinter einer Optik mit sehr geringer TIR-Strahlung. Sie erzeugt einen ziemlich schmalen Hotspot. Es ist auch möglich, einen sehr großen Streulichtfleck zu sehen. Die verfügbaren Modi sind: Mond, Niedrig, Mittel, Hoch, Turbo. Die Benutzeroberfläche ist wirklich einfach und leicht zu verwenden. Bei ausgeschalteter Taschenlampe: Drücken und halten Sie den Schalter, um die Taschenlampe einzuschalten, doppelklicken Sie, um auf Turbo zuzugreifen. Bei eingeschalteter Taschenlampe: lange drücken, um die Helligkeit zu ändern (Mondlicht > Niedrig > Mittel > Hoch), einmaliges Klicken, um das Licht auszuschalten, doppelklicken Sie, um auf Turbo zuzugreifen. Es gibt auch einen Speichermodus für alle Stufen außer Turbo. Es gibt auch eine Unterspannungswarnung, die den Benutzer über den Ladezustand des Akkus informiert, zusammen mit einer LED, die als Indikator für die Restkapazität der Zelle dient. Die Aufteilung ist wie folgt: Dauerhaft blau: > = 90 % der Batterie (5 Sekunden lang an) Blau blinkend: zwischen 90 % und 40 % (5 Sekunden lang an) Dauerhaft rot: zwischen 40 % und 15 % (5 Sekunden lang an) Rot blinkend: zwischen 15 % und 0 % (blinkt weiter). Der Wuben G2 wird über einen eingebauten, nicht entfernbaren LiPo-Akku mit 280 mAh mit Strom versorgt.

Am Ende, direkt neben dem Knopf, befindet sich eine kleine USB-Abdeckung, hinter der sich ein USB-C-Anschluss verbirgt. Während des Ladevorgangs leuchtet die Status-LED rot. Nach Abschluss des Ladevorgangs leuchtet sie blau. Der G2 kann während des Ladevorgangs verwendet werden, allerdings nur in den Modi „Low“, „Moon“ und „Mid“.
